The Great White Way

Catalog Code:
2- 21042
Description:

A Paramount puzzle made by Parker Brothers, Salem, MA 1930's.  Plywood, interlocking, 18 figure pieces but no color line cutting which distinguishes the brand from the more expensive Pastime puzzles.  Artist is C.M. Coolidge and is one in his series of pictures depicting dogs looking and acting human, called "Dogs Playng Poker", only this picture is not listed with the others in the series (which includes several depicting dogs in non-poker situations).  And a Google search on the internet failed to turn up any matches for this image.  Hard to believe this is a unique find!
