Eight beautiful portraits drawn by Winold Reiss and published by Great Northern Railroad. Each portrait is 7" W x 10" H and die cut by Saalfield Publishing Co, Akron, OH into approximately 40 cardboard pieces, many of them geometric in shape. Total of 320 pieces of which 11 have been replaced. Depicted: top row, L to R: Double Steel and Two Cutter, Woman, Long Time Pipe Woman, Morning Bird; bottom row, L to R: Tough Bread, Lazy Boy-Medicine Man, Chief Short Man, Alex Eagle Plume. All are from Glacier National Park. Box is sized to hold puzzles assembled and its cover has a portrait of Yellow Head, also from Glacier National Park, who is not featured among the 8 puzzles. An extraordinary set!
