The Violin Recital

Probably a very early Parker Brothers Pastime puzzle before figure pieces regularly appeared in Pastimes  Many years ago I had a similarly cut Pastime of the same scene with its original box.  Semi-interlocking with color line cutting but no figure pieces although there are shapes beginning to look like figure pieces.  Replacement box.  Artist is Castiglione.  
Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione (1609-1664) was an Italian Baroque painter, printmaker and draftsman, of the Genoese school. He is best known now for his etchings, and as the inventor of the printmaking technique of monotyping. He was known as Il Grechetto in Italy and in France as Le Benédette. Wikipedia
