A "Little Cut-Up" puzzle cut by H.E. Hamlen, Chicopee, MA 1930's.  Interlocking, color line cut, misc. knobs some serving as "interval knobs" to enhance interlock between 2 different color areas.  The 'Red Lion' is probably the most common name for a pub in the United Kingdom and originates from the time of James I and VI of Scotland who came to the throne in 1603. James ordered that the heraldic red lion of Scotland be displayed on all buildings of importance – including pubs!  Wikipedia  Coach in scene is the London/York coach.  Artist is Arthur Birch.
