Quai in Venice

VG puzzle made by Virginia & George Locke, Coronado, CA in 1960's.  Well made with quality plywood, complicated interlocking curve and earlet knob styles, and 19 figure pieces, most of them appropriate in shape and location for the scene.  Very sturdy box.  No repairs needed.  Puzzle purchased directly from makers' family; assembled at 2018 Rochester Puzzle Parley.The artist, Giovanni Antonio Canal (1697-1768), better known as Canaletto (Italian: [kanaˈletto]), was an Italian painter of city views of Venice, Rome, and London.  Wikipedia.
