An awkward encounter for both men, one of whom is carrying their canoe, and bear who is tending her cubs, in the midst of very difficult terrain. Hopefully, both will back off slowly. Pastime puzzle made by Parker Brothers, Salem, MA 1940's. Plywood, interlocking, color line cut with 58 figure pieces. Artist is Philip R. Goodwin.  Also called "Preparedness".
