Early push fit puzzle cut by unknown maker from a scene depicting buffalo, antelope, wolf, trapper, cowboy, and indigenous people all fleeing together to escape a huge prairie fire. Upper right shows the edge of a large body of water which might save their lives.  Artist is probably Robert Farrington Elwell who painted many western scenes, especially of cowboys on horseback.
