Patient Playfellow

This puzzle was cut back c.1909, probably by a very early die machine (hand slicing with a knife was also used back then) by M. T. Sheehan of Boston, MA. Puzzles like this were the precursor to the cardboard puzzles of the puzzle mania of the 1930's and the intricate cardboard puzzles of today.
