Mt. Chocorua

Photo of the mountain in the distance.  Puzzle cut by Roland Chesley, Buckfield, ME 1950s, as #288, well before Armstrong's met and commissioned him to cut over 40 puzzles for us (early 1970s).  Puzzle not one we commissioned.  Plywood, interlocking.  Mount Chocorua is a 3,490 ft mountain in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, the easternmost peak of the Sandwich Range. Although the mountain is not outstanding for its elevation, it is very rugged and has excellent views of the surrounding lakes, mountains, and forests. Wikipedia.  Lovely puzzle that works well.  Chesley provided labels but no boxes for his puzzles.  We used a candy box here.
