Zig-Zag Puzzle Co., Chicago IL produced this puzzle in the 1930's.  Interlocking with random (different) knobs.  Artist is T.J. Slaughter but I could find little about him/her. Picture was used by several cutters to make puzzles in the 1930's.  Zig-Zag puzzles are tightly cut mainly because of the intricacy of the cutting style.
