Pastime puzzle made in 1929 by Parker Brothers: 43 figure pieces; color line cutting. Middle of "Salome" by Richard Straus, in which Salome performs the dance of the seven veils for Herod in return for his granting any request she may make. At the end, she demands the head of Jokanaan on a silver charger, ultimately leading to her kissing the mouth of Jokanaan's head and Herod's ordering her killed. Artist: unknown
