Hospital Ship 'Strathcona' in Winter Quarters

Anne Williams, Bates College, Lewiston, ME has written an article published in the AGPC summer 2005 Quarterly detailing the history of Raphael Tuck & Sons’ Labrador Zag-Zaw series, sold for the benefit of the International Grenfell Association’s efforts to bring hospital services to Labrador and nearby areas. This is one of four in the series made in the 1930's, all 4 shown here.  Plywood, interlocking, 20 figure pieces many appropriate to the Arctic. Artist: B. Gribble.
