Gardener's Shed

The maker of this puzzle, Meike Nixdorf, is the daughter of Hildegard's first cousin, Bernd Nixdorf, and his wife Ingrid, who live in Leonberg, Germany (outside Stuttgart). Meike spent a summer with us in 1993 and became interested in cutting puzzles, including this gift for us when she returned to Germany. Her signature piece in the lower right is a mermaid; the irregular corner-figure is a monogram for "Armstrong". Artist is Norman Rockwell.
