Glue (probably horse glue) for holding picture to solid wood had failed on this puzzle leaving virtually every piece badly wrinkled. Because of our partiality toward early skating scenes, I carefully slit off the paper picture on each piece, scraped off the old glue on both the paper and the wood, and re-glued each piece, a labor-intensive exercise to say the least! The result is this spectacular puzzle, non-interlocking, cut extensively along color lines 1909 c. Maker: unknown; artist: Belano?
