A Family of Yawns

This is certainly an unusual scene!  A Whatisit puzzle cut by Mrs. Margaret Abercrombie, Winchester, MA 1909c. Solid wood, non-interlocking, cut extensively along color lines with irregular sides enhancing the heads on each end. Artist is unknown but must have intended some form of joke when drawing this scene.  Another example of 1909 era humor. Very challenging to assemble!
