The "patient" looks sick or is an amazingly docile dog.  Our "doctor" may be "in over his head" if the "patient" is truly ill.  Puzzle made by Howard W. Chapin, plywood, interlocking, cut partially along color lines with 7 figure pieces including "DAD".  Artist unknown.  Box includes note re history of puzzle as a gift.  Artist unknown but picture has a 1910 art date.  No repairs needed.
