Gorgeous interlocking puzzle published by Joseph Straus, Brooklyn, NY 1950c. Artist is Nicholas U. Comito (1906 - 1990), He was active/lived in New York, Texas and is known for Landscape and still life painting, illustration, lithography. Puzzle reminds me of my boyhood days on Mandalay Road, Springfield, MA on the way to sledding on nearby slopes. Those slopes which looked so steep and dangerous as a boy now look "tame" and today's children no longer sled there.
