D14: The Pickwickians Leave the Golden Cross for Rochester

Published in 1912 c. by Tuck & Sons, London, England as D.14 in their Dickens Coaching Zag-Zaw 400 p. series. Plywood, non-interlocking, 64 figure pieces (high ratio).  Artist: Albert Ludovici, Jr. From Dickens' Pickwick Papers. One of my favorite Ludovici scenes with the boys running barefoot  beside the coach and Mr. Pickwick sitting up top beside the driver.  Note: Golden Cross Hotel promotes itself as a "Family Hotel" in this scene.
