D.13 in the series of 16 coaching scenes painted by Albert Ludovici, Jr. and commissioned by Tuck & Sons, London, England to celebrate the birth of Charles Dickens in 1812. Tuck & Sons was considered the leading color lithographer in England at the time and a leading puzzle maker using many of its own prints. They also sold their prints to other puzzle makers such as Parker Brothers. A/K/A Little David Copperfield--The Ride Over London Bridge. No repairs needed. Ludovici's Dickens coaching scene puzzles have been one of our prime special collections for 25 years although I have focused on the Pastime puzzles made by Parker Brothers from the Tuck prints in the 350 p. size.
